Let’s get to this week’s mailbag questions – enjoy!

Jimmy C. (via Instagram): I just graduated with my BSN in May and am wondering if you hire new grad RNs at any of your hospitals and clinics? How/where can I apply?

Great questions, Jimmy, and timely as well: We’re hosting our annual New Graduate RN Residency Career Fair from 1 to 5 pm Wednesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 5 at our Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital & Physician Clinic-Rockton campus. Attendees will interview with department leaders and learn more about our RN career opportunities. This career fair is open to recent graduates only and all attendees MUST complete an application prior to attending – click here to apply. We hope to see you at the career fair!

Sue Ellen (via Facebook comment): I currently work as a nurse in an area nursing home but I’m looking to make a transition in my career. I have 15 years of nursing experience with the last 6 being in nursing home care. What opportunities might best suit me?

Thanks for the comment, Sue Ellen. Our Home Health team is currently seeking RNs with the experience and skill set you appear to have to work with our diverse patient population in their homes in a 1-on-1 basis. This position does require travel as you’ll be working with patients in their homes. Our Home Health RNs receive competitive compensation and benefits, tuition and certification reimbursement, generous PTO, and a rewarding work-life balance. Click here to learn more and complete your application today!
