Jasmine F. from Harvard, IL (via Instagram): I’m currently studying Laboratory Science at Northern Illinois University and want to know what careers would be available to me upon graduation? What kind of jobs would I be qualified for?

The career opportunity you’d likely be most suited and best equipped for would be our Medical Laboratory Technologists. The primary roles or responsibilities of this position are to provide exceptional patient care by collecting and processing samples and performing clinical laboratory procedures to help our nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. Our Medical Laboratory Technologists work with cutting-edge equipment in state-of-the-art lab facilities to provide fast, efficiency, and accurate test results across our entire organization of hospital and clinic locations.    

Darin V.. from Delavan, WI (via Facebook): I have 6 years of experience in Human Resources with a local manufacturing company, but have always wanted to work in health care. Can I make the leap from manufacturing to health care?

Absolutely! In fact, we are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our Janesville-based team. Our HRBPs work to source, hire, and retain the talented people within our organization across all areas/units, everything from our 2,000+ nurses to our Environmental Services and Food Services teams and everything in between. Our HRBPs also work in close collaboration with our Compensation and Benefits partners and also work collaboratively with fellow HRBPs to ensure our organization has the right people in place to provide the highest quality care for our patients and their families.  

Penny M. from Dixon, IL (via Facebook): I’m a registered nurse with 3 years of hospital experience and I’m looking to branch out and try something new. What career opportunities are currently available that might interest me?
